How long do your candle last?

The duration of our candles varies from 40- 45 hours (Full size candles), and 15-18 hours (sample candles), all depends on usage. For optimal candle lifespan, we suggest following our candle care guidelines.

Why some of my candles aren't filled to the top?

Our samples candle container maximum capacity is 120ml, and our full size container maximum capacity is 270ml, so candles are never filled all the way to the top (the rim). While we aim to fill more than what we are listing for (120ml for sample, 270ml for full size), handpour candles are never perfect. If you are unsatisfied with the product, please reach out and we will sort all your enquiries :)

As a candle fanatic, this is one of the strongest smelling candles I've ever gotten. Even unlit I can smell it if nearby. Smells exactly like chocolate chip cookies. As someone who love vanilla fragrances, this did have a hint of vanilla but would like that to be stronger. When lit, I can smell it walking past the room and in the hallway.

It makes you want to bake cookies

This one doesn't smell amazing when it's just in the jar but when you light it, it really comes alive! It fills the whole room with a very realistic choc chip cookie scent. To me, it really captures the smell of cookies when they're in the middle of baking, when the dough is melting and just starting to caramelise the sugar.
I forgot to mention in my other reviews but I find these candles (all scents, not just this one!) to last a really long time. I've had candles in the past where I burn them and they get used up/burned away so fast, but with Gourmand Candle you really get your money's worth! Truly my favourite candle brand :)
